our studio ethos
JFD are continuously striving to not only produce environmentally conscious buildings, but to also reduce our own carbon footprint. To practice what we preach, we have selected our studio space to be located within cycling distance from our homes and great public transport routes. Our office can be found within Southends Conservation area, a stones throw away from the sea front and southend central station.
To further help our environment we have teamed up with 'Ecologi' to take climate action. Every month we provide funding to plant 12 trees to offset our carbon footprint. On top of this, with every successful planning permission received, no matter the scale of the project, we plant an additional tree! As our team grows and increases our carbon footprint we will further increase the funding to ensure our very own personal forest can offset the impact we have on our beautiful environment.
