We have designed a refined, contemporary courtyard home defined by strong horizontal lines and a restrained material palette. The composition brings together two dark, zinc-clad wings that frame a central glazed volume, creating a calm and private internal courtyard anchored by a sculptural tree.

Full-height glazing wraps each elevation, dissolving the boundary between inside and out, while warm internal lighting brings the architecture to life. A low-pitched central roof with a continuous rooflight draws natural light deep into the plan, contrasting with the solidity of the surrounding forms.

The result is a carefully balanced home that combines openness with privacy, delivering a modern, intimate living environment centred around light, simplicity, and connection to its surroundings.
