JFD was approached by a new client to reconfigure the existing ground floor space, whilst adding a series of first-floor extensions to create a larger footprint, encompassing a master bedroom suite with ensuite and dressing room, and a new family bathroom. The ground floor space was to create an open plan living environment to suit their modern family needs. the interaction between the family and the space was vital and JFD had to create a space that was not only open but also inviting and homely. A large roof lantern helps flood the existing space with natural light to create an airy and welcoming environment.
